Creative Comfort Food is an illustrated book featuring recipes from Designers at the Seattle Central Creative Academy.  Over the course of 16 weeks, I designed layouts, edited recipes, and combined traditional and digital process to create light hearted illustrations.  I started with research to analyse and gain a more thorough understanding of how to arrange information so it is easy to follow directions laid out in text.  I used colorful typefaces and washes of color to relate the text to the illustration and achieve a harmonious design.
